In MAYA, is it possible to keep individual viewports centered on the current object? Even while you are moving the object?

Thanks!

I don't know if there's a simple way to do this... of course you can always hit 'f' to center the current camera on the object, or 'F' to center all cameras on the object. But while moving the object? You could parent or constrain your camera(s) to the object, but that might mess with your ability to move it accurately... You could reverse that process and parent the object under your camera, then just pan your camera to where you want the object to be, and unparent it to 'drop' the object in place!

These are hacks, though, not the proper tool you're looking for, I'm afraid. :(
