Hey there, I am trying to project images onto objects so that it matches the camera viewing the object. I have seen a similar thread but it wasn't the effect I am looking for.
I created a scene that has a pile of boxes in a pyramid shape. Set up a camera on either side and rendered out the image from each angle. In Photoshop I created an alpha mask for each camera with the aim to project images from either side and cover the entire pyramid.
I then used the masks as the color channels for two spotlights placed in the same position as the cameras but it is very fiddly to try and match up the projected light to cover the correct part of the pyramid shape. I was wondering if there is a quicker or more effective way of doing this?
I hope this is explained enough, but I can provide the scene files if anyone would like to take a look at it.
