i'm currently making a short animation for my final university project.
In one scene a man opens and closes a draw that is full of nuts and bolts.
I have assigned the nuts and bolts as active rigid bodies with gravity fields and the draw as a passive rigid body. I have got the simulation looking how I hoped it would and it works when I playblast out of maya.
Now that I am rendering, none of the simulation is coming up!
Someone had previously suggested that I bake the simulation, and then render, but when I bake it it completely destroys what was there and the nuts and bolts fly everywhere!
I would be so grateful for any suggestions.
