it's my first post here, but i'm using Autodesk Maya for a while, learned much about modeling, texturing, lighting and how to use the deformers. I already did some photorealistic rendering too.
But i'm working on a big movie scene now, which brings me sleepless nights.
In this scene, the horizon, and theoretical the whole earth deforms. I attached pics showing the process of the ground deformation and the other objects in the scene.
1 start picture
2 moving horizon
3 moving horizon 2
Just the objects near to the camera should be detailed. The clouds or the fog over the ground gets thicker the more you get away from the viewing point (camera).
Can somebody give me tips for modeling, deforming or texturing how to get this work? Would be great!
Looking forward to hear from you.
