problem using point light!

i have this scene tried to use directional lights but they were not giving me the look im going for and changed the lights to point lights and they work great!, only problem is the point lights are creating some undesirable hotspots how camn i get rid of these hotspots? or what type of light setup do u guys suggest i use?

Fast way: turn of specular in your light attributes.

Proper way: use a _few_ well placed spotlights at a proper distance. Your point lights appear to be either right on top of the surface or extremely bright. Another option is just plugging in an HDR file to do your lighting for you.

Alternative way: I'm taking a guess here, but I'm thinking you aren't looking for the ultra realistic look. An easy way to get your globe lit is by just using an ambient light. Play around with the intensity and ambient shade attributes and you'll probably get a result that works for you within one or two minutes.
