Sorry, I missed your update on the earlier post.

How many polys are in this object? It's not always true that more polys = a better model, but in this case I feel like I'm looking at just a few dozen, which isn't enough detail to really make the object feel solid. If it's a ship, it must have all sorts of parts and pieces that come together to make it what it is. Right now it feels like a piece of folded paper, or something.

Look at some examples of other ship models to get an idea of the level of detail you need:

Again, it's not the sheer number of polys that matters, but how they're arranged... create structures and details to give a sense of solidity, construction, and realism to the object. Make sure to give every surface some thickness; avoid perfectly sharp edges, etc.

not having enough angles to catch your MR env from my pov.
you can also add more detail with textures.
grunge maps do a lot to a flat object.
again Im not seeing the MR env on your latest pic.

The material on the main body still looks like a flat Lambert. Make sure it's a material with specular properties, such as Phong or Blinn. Eric's comments are all good. Make sure you map the specular properties as well as colour.

Part of the problem, I'm afraid, is that that vehicle just doesn't have a very interesting shape. That means most of the detail is going to have to be carried by small modeled details and maps.
