Adding timeline to graph editor?
on Apr 2, 2012 at 9:11:52 am

Hey,

is it possible to add timeline controls to graph editor? I'm using graph editor on different monitor than the timeline is so it would be much simplier to use timeline also from graph editor.

If it's moving, animate it

What do you mean by 'timeline controls'? Play, stop, frame advance? Just use hotkeys (alt-v esc alt-, alt-.).

You could probably script a custom window that incorporates a timeline, but that would be a big pain.

Also note the 'k' hotkey allows you to scrub the time slider in the graph editor (or a viewport).

Ah, sorry. Meant timeline itself, but that hotkey 'k' drives that and now there is no need for timeline.

Thank you
