I want to rotate an object around a globe, and in the same time rotate it around its own axis.
I used a motion path to rotate it around the globe, but when I set a keyframe for it's own axis rotation, the object stops to move along the motion path. How can I solve this?
You need an extra transform so you can separate the orbit around the globe from the rotation around the object's own axis.
You could group the object to itself, or create a locator and parent the object under it. Then attach the group (or locator) to the motion path. This will carry the object along while leaving its rotation channels free.
