I have been working on binding a bipedal model, I have been trying to use blend shapes to fix up some of the problem areas. The rig is entirely made up of influence objects and parented to joints, this may seem unpractical but it is the assignment requirement. I delete all the non-deformer history before duplicating and pose the figure BEFORE duplicating. The model will deform just fine but when I go to move the rig itself it detaches from the mesh entirely as if it wasn't binded. I have tried switching some of the input hierarchy, it will read the joints and influence objects, but the mesh will blow up. It only works when I pose AFTER duplicating, but I can't get nearly the same amount of detail. Any help will be greatly appreciated. cheers.
