I have a problem with the animation of an extruded surface created by extruding a shape of a curve in Maya 2011.
For the projection on the facade of a building, I created several "snakes" with head and tail-shaped set of bricks, which come out and fall from the facade.
To realize I have a curve of extruded / drawn in the form of a set of bricks that comes out and falls into the facade.
To animate them I went to change the values in the channel box of the curve / pattern with outputs> subcurve 2.
So far so good, but created in the extrusion curve / track, to a certain extent reflects the form, by overturning the "snake" and creating a shot in the animation.
This I also goes to interfere in the subsequent phases of work, not allowing me to place a texture to the head and tail of the form, and giving problems in a shader that I display only the outline of the "snake".
