I'm working on an energy orb type effect using fluids. I've gotten it to a point where I like the look of the orb except the edges of fluid are very blocky looking. Initially, I thought just turning up the resolution would smooth this out but it seems to have little effect. I started with a base resolution of 100 and turned it up to 400 but the edges still look blocky. Is there another attribute or effect I could apply to the fluid to smooth this out? With the resolution at 400, it slows my computer (a 12-Core Mac Pro with 16GB of RAM) to the point where it is almost unusable so I'm hesitant to turn the resolution up any higher. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.
