I'm creating my first animation in Maya. So far I haven't had any problems but I am not able to render my project with Image plane. It just disppears! The plane is wisible while rendering the front camera, but not visible while rendering perspective (not important) or custom camera 1 (very important).
The animation consists of map of my country and a camera which is moving around the map (like in INDIANA!). The custom camera follows one CV curve and it's aim if following another CV curve closer to the map.
I am doing this animation as an intro for graduation video of my class. Im very desperate, please help.
I've made a simple test set-up and it seems to be normal. You can attach an image plane to your normal front-view camera, but it will not show up on your perspective camera. Think it's only meant to be used for blueprints. You'll have to create an image plane that's not stuck to the standard front-side-top views.
I'm not too good at explaining stuff like this, but I hope it somehow helped you out. Good luck.
