What app created this?

I'm referring to the rotating images at about 5 seconds in this You Tube link

Can someone let me know which app can achieve this effect?

after effects can surely do that, I don't see anything there that AF can't handle without any plugins

I agree with Alvero. It was definitely AE or some post production software. You can use objects in a 3D space inside of AE quite easily. Do some research on the net. At a guess I would say that they have applied these images to 3D boards and used a script to create the rotation for each element as doing this by hand would take a very long time OR they simple placed all of the elements in the scene in their current positions and keyframed the camera rotating around the outside facing in (this is the more likely case). You can create fly bys in AE just like you would in Maya.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to plug another site on here but there are really good tutorials on Video Copilot that can help you. Especially the Solar System tutorial. They cover how to create fly bys using the camera and how to focus on a target and that's exactly what you are trying to achieve here. Good luck and I hope this was helpful.
