White Transparency not completely opaque

Hey All,

I've having some trouble rendering out a sequence in which I've animated the transparency of a long rope object, so that it animates on. Everything works well except that before the object animates on, I can still see a faint outline of the object, like it's still on 5% opacity or something. I've checked the ramp node that I used for the transparency and all of the ramp points are completely white, so I don't know what's wrong. If anyone has any insight please let me know, thank you.

Check the specular and reflection channels
those might be problem channels
