First of all as this I my first post in the community I would like to say hi to all members.
Well, I'm pretty new to maya, I have been a coder for lota time and now want to try something new. For my new project (a 2D game in unity3D) I would like to use maya as my 2D animation package using 2d skeletal animation. More or less from what I have read, this can be achieved, creating a 2D skeleton in maya (YX plane for example) and attaching quads to the nodes. Could anybody suggest best/fast way to do this and get good results? Anybody has experience with this technique in maya?.
