I need to make a shader which mimics the buildings in the scene below.
My scene will have a lot of large geometric type buildings, and I'm trying to make a shader which will put some point lights onto the geometry without actually having to use lights. So it's important that they looks like lights and have a glow on them. So far I have everything set up how I want, but I just can't get my shader to look like night time buildings. It looks too flat.
So I want a shader with some surface bumps, and a kind of matte metal as a base. All driven by fractals and noise...no textures. And then a kind of speckled light effect over the top that glows slightly.
Or even points that are pure white, so I can add the glow to the images in post?
