Pile of lego bricks

Hi there,

I want to create a big pile of lego bricks, approximately 100 bricks, and am looking for the most efficient way to do this. I found an old post where someone wanted something alike and what he did was create a polygon pile, and emitted cubes from that. He would freeze the emission and copy the cubeskin to get the result.

Now I still have to dive into learning more about particles to make something like that, but is something like that possible with lego bricks (that i've made)? If yes, could you tell me what would be the best way to go about this? And if no, what would be a better way to create a big pile of bricks?

Thanks in advance,
Quentin

Hey Quentin, A simple way is to just duplicate the brick into groups and keep duplicating. Nothing to hard about that. There's some tutorials on You-Tube about using Particle Instancing as well. Hope that helps. STU

I know alot....but not as much as the other guy.
