I have a train. It renders fine.
I add some particle based steam and all of a sudden it acts like the camera clipping plane is set really close to the camera! Instead of getting my full scene it seems to clip maybe 30 units from the lens.
During the rendering process I can see it drawing the bits past the clipping point, then once the render is complete it clips it to black.
Any ideas what is going on?
It only does this when rednering with Mental Ray. I’m using Maya 2010.
