Control animation in time line

Hi there,

I'm starting a new project now in maya where I'll some objects that will transform. I will animate various separate objects to perform the transformation.

What I wanted to know is if there any way to after that pick up that animation and link it to a controller so that I could control that transformation as I would do with a blend shape for example??

Any ideia of how can I do this??

Thanks in advance ;)

Yes. What you describe is what Set Driven Keys are for, but you can turn tim-driven keyframe animation into pretty-much-anything driven animation by connecting something other than time to the animation curves.
