I'm currently involved in quite a heavy project which involves a camera travelling through a multicoloured tunnel.
The tunnel itself is made up of polygon cubes, millions of them all assigned a different colour.
I'd like to do a render pass using a image sequence texture to add random noise to the final output of the inside walls.
Is there an easy (or feasable) way to scrap all the old UV setup and assign all the polygons on each inside wall the new image sequence texture without rebuilding geometry?
I'd like to add this layer to the final render in after effects to give the movie a more organic feel.
Pulling my hair out here and the deadline is end of this week, if any of you good folks have any advice I'd really appriciate it.
Thanks in advance.
