Hey everyone. (keep in mind that this is specifically about stereo)
So I am having issues correctly visualizing my stereo camera view. Let me explain.
First of all, you cant use the resolution gate, or any gate for that matter, in the viewport while using stereo. What is up with that?
My biggest issue though is that when I render a single frame in Maya, the camera framing is one way, and when I batch render from the same camera, the framing is another way. The camera seems to “see” (render) a wider view when I render a single frame as opposed to the batch render.
I know this is a bit obscure, but has anyone run into this issue in the past? Have I overlooked something simple? (that would actually be nice in this case) This is a big problem when producing stereoscopic work as the framing is a huge part of the process.
