Merge multiple animations - same rig, same model into single file?
on May 19, 2010 at 7:57:48 am

I'm using Maya 8.5, but I have access to Maya 2011.

How can I merge multiple animations - same rig, same model into single file?

I have 1 rig in 4 different Maya files, each with a different animation. walk, run, fly, and success.

I have separated these into different sequences ie - walk frames 1-100, run frames 101-200, fly frames 201-300 success frames 301-400

How can I merge these all into 1 file that has 400 frames? I would think this would be easy but when I use FBX format it keep overriding the existing animation even though it has a different frame set.

This should be easy right?

cheers,
jimmy

Hi

you could try to make an animation clip for each one and combine them in the trax editor
that'll work fine
