I am quite new with maya and I can't figure out how to intersect subdiv objects (I'm not even sure this is the good way to get what I want). I am trying to build the knight of a chess game, I made the base shape using a subdiv and I'd like to create the shape of the eye
My first try was to intersect my base mesh with a surface cylinder and then use the move tool on the curve created on the surface, but it didn't seem to be working (nothing happened, even the intersect surfaces). Converting my subdiv to a NURBS completely breaks the whole thing by creating unconnected NURBS (is it normal???). Could you tell me the good method to create the eye shape of that knight?
