I am trying to draw a curve and extrude it into a 3d shape that has all its sides. When I extrude my curve, all I get is a tunnel of the shape, open at each end, any help please. Maya 9 beginner.

RMB (Right Mouse Button) click on the surface, go to isoparm and select the open border. Then go to [Surfaces] Surfaces->Planar.

When I RMB click on the curve I get Curve Point, Object Mode, Hull,Edit Point, Control Vertex, and the larger menu below it. Don't see isoparm.

Surves don't have isoparms. Select the surface.
