Universal scaling without messing up camera moves????
on Mar 24, 2010 at 9:07:43 pm

Hey guys,

Is there a script or anything that anyone knows of that can globally scale everything in a scene, but keep all the information ntacked? For instances, I have a Maya scene, completely animated with camera moves, etc. and all i want to do is scale everything down by at least half probably 2/3's. Any thing would help, thanks!

What would you accomplish with scaling everything?

Ya Im somewhat new to maya, and the scene file i receive from someone else was super scaled up (dont know why). Tight deadline on my project, and I needed the Camera information to bring into AE, so i just grouped it it all, and it ended up working. For some reason Maya kept moving the key frames of the camera when i tried the first time. I guess all it needed was good old reboot of the computer.
