I'm trying to texture a simple arrowhead in part using Maya's built in 3D Texture 'Rock'. I didn't do anything fancy with it, just changed the colors and settings. When I render, I am getting artifacts that look like dead pixels. Also, looking at the 'Texture Sample' about the attributes, I can see that the texture itself actually has the black squares calculated in. I have no clue why this is happening. Any help?
