Multiple meshes in one node

I am wanting to assign one transform to multiple meshes. One mesh will be the real mesh, another will be a low-polly version of that mesh, used for collision purposes.

It would be ideal to have these in one node so that the transformation matrix is automatically applied to the collision mesh as well, then when exporting both can be grabbed and written to a binary file. Is there any way to do this? Thanks a bunch.

It's possible, although I wouldn't recommend it. I would just parent the high-res model to the low-res version.

Here's an example of how you can create two shapes under one transform.

string $lo[] = `polyCube -w 1 -h 1 -d 1 -sx 1 -sy 1 -sz 1 -ax 0 1 0 -cuv 4 -ch 1`;
string $hi[] = `polyCube -w 1 -h 1 -d 1 -sx 10 -sy 10 -sz 10 -ax 0 1 0 -cuv 4 -ch 1`;
string $hiShape[]= `listRelatives -c $hi[0]`;
parent -add -shape $hiShape[0] $lo;
delete $hi[0];
