Easiest way is to open the UV editor window, save a snapshot, and then use that image as your texture (you can load it on photoshop or simmilar to change looks, color, blur and so on). One of the few things I miss of Max (back when I used it a loooooong time ago) is the "wireframe" material.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I found out this way of doing it: "Hardware Buffer Render. It's under Window, Rendering Editors. Go to the Render menu in it and then to Attributes to bring up the Hardware Render Globals and set the Draw Style to Wireframe."
