Fluids question...
on Jan 28, 2010 at 9:23:07 am

Hey guys!

This is a simple question that I have yet to find an answer for. It's like everyone assumes that everyone knows so no one bothers with some kind of definition.

In fluid effects, what is the difference between "temperature" and "fuel", and what exactly do each do and or control. I understand density and viscosity.

Thanks in advance =]

Density is how much stuff you have, Fuel is how reactive the stuff is, and Temperature how much energy there is to ignite the stuff.

Did you do the tutorial Learning Resources > Tutorials > Getting Started with Maya > Fluid Effects > Lesson 3: Creating a dynamic 3D effect

that should explain it.
