I'm animating an object in Maya 2009. On that object I'm using a 3dTexure and a Projection Node, to have a Logo on the object.
During the animation, I want to change the Logo into another one, a few times. So I thought the best way is to make a transition, switching the files and animate this, BUT how do I do that. I don't want to make a movie out of the texture, because I want to be able to change the timing later on. How do I do that.
And another question is, the logos have the same BG color as the Phong shader I use and an alpha channel (file is TGA). I can't manage, that the projection node uses the alpha channel from the texturefile, so that just the logo is projected, not the BG color. When I'm playing with the brightness of the texture, within Maya, the BG color also changes and so it doesn't match the pong shader color and I see the sourrounding square.
