I have created a simple cylinder in a totally new scene.
create-polygon primitives-cylinder reset settings and create.
set height to 20, subdivisions axis 20, subdivisions height 5, caps 1
Into component mode and select a whole ring of vertices in the middle of the cylinder
press r for scale tool
Now here's where it goes wrong and I am following written instructions from a manual here.
I want to uniformly scale the ring of vertices equally in the x and z axis.
What I AM getting is an elongated scale in the x or the z axis.
I just want to scale the ring of vertices out in a larger radius but its not working.
Can anyone help before I throw it out the window :-)
