I'm trying to simulate a pool table break... a cue ball rushing at a triangle of 15 balls and scattering them over the table. It's looking pretty good, but the problem I'm having is that the balls don't stop wiggling after they come to rest. I know I could bake the simulation and just delete the keyframes after I want the balls to stop, but I'm wondering whether there's a cure that stays in dynamics. I've played with the friction and damping values, and that doesn't seem to do the trick. Any ideas?
