Right click not working?
on Jun 1, 2009 at 2:02:19 pm

Since recently installing Maya 2008, and 2009 I have not been able to get the right click function working?

I am now animating and cannot delete a keyframe... Is there a shortcut at least to delete keyframes?

Bizzare issue, can't seem to figure it out..?

Any ideas?

Hi

you can also work with keyframes in the dope sheet and in the graph editor, open
WINDOW > ANIMATION EDITORS > DOPE SHEET

and delete key there, if you are on a mac, get a 3 buttons mouse if not, that's really weird

:D

Thanks, I will try that. I am on a three button mouse, and have selected 3 button mouse in Maya preferences.

Very weird.

From one Mac user to another...

Step 1: MAYA menu > Preferences > Interface

Step 2: At the bottom of the menu you'll see a section called "Devices." Click on "Mouse tracking: One button."

Step 3: SAVE [so the new preference will be put into action.]

*** DONE! Now when you "Control Click" you'll get the little menu to pop up. ***

- Control Click [little menu]
- Control + Opt Click [zoom in and out]
- Opt Click [rotate]
