Do Maya Trial Version Files Open in Licensed Version?
on May 21, 2009 at 10:24:27 pm

My school owns a PC site license of Maya Complete 2009, but I'd like to work on some projects over the summer on my personal Mac laptop. I've downloaded the "2009 trial version" from Autodesk's website, but when I create models, animations, and other files/folders, will all of that translate correctly when I try to open them on the full, licensed versions of Maya Complete 2009, at school next fall?

Thanks,

Dave

I don't think so
I know that the PLE couldn't do that, if the trial version is saving .MB or .MA it might work, if it saves any other format, I bet you can't open it
