using image sequence in maya

hi friends, in maya, instead of using movie file i used image sequence...it works well bt i dont knw how to set the beginning time where i want it to start...im not mean the image sequence number but the frames in maya time slider.. my overall animation time is 800 frames.. i want that image sequence to start from after 300 frames..can anyone help me..

Not sure if this helps but I recently struggled with something similar to this. It was sort of counter intuitive but the "frame offset" for your image sequence shader must be a negative number. So if you want the image to start on frame 300, set the frame offset to "-299".

Anyway this is how it worked for a moving sequence that I was projecting through a light. Maybe it will work for you?
