I need to simulate a realistic car crash for a movie i'm filming, without actually crashing a car. I had first considered doing this in after effects, but realized it may be easier to do in Maya. I am just a beginner with the program, so any help would be much appreciated. So far i just have the car. I've tried using a crack shatter effect for the windshield, but cant seem to get it right. I may just be trying the srong variables for the shatter effect, or may have an entirely wrong approach. Any ideas on how to crack the windshield or crash the front end of the car?
