Haha, so many problems so little time. My issue is im using a grid to cut out pieces of a sphere but for some reason over the cut out grid lines the specular reflections of my bounce card still show up over the "cut out" piece of the sphere. How do i fix this? THank you
I don't get exactly your problem, but try adding the same shader to all pieces,
if this is for something breaking, What I usually do is, I use the NON broken geo till the frame that it breaks, then change to the broken geo.
Oh no this geo is not broken at all. Its just a sphere with a blinn shader applied to it and the transparency is mapped to a grid texture. My goal was to have the grid cut the slices through the sphere, and it did that, but for some reason there is still specular highlights showing up over the cut out slices.
