Hi there...having a maya moment when rendering a previs sequence. It's a scene of a town in an environment and I want the camera to come in over the plains. There's a fair amount of texture on the town but it's only a 26mb mb file all up. When I render close to the town it's all good, but when I pull back it hits a point where the render goes black!
I can still see the town and mountains behind in the camera viewport but nada in the render. The architecture was given in mm so that's the prefs setting I have. It means the far clipping plane has to be way out at 3000000 or so and the near clip can be 1000 to see the whole scene. Any ideas why the render depends on distance...has 1 amb and 1 directional light...looks fine in viewport???
