set project problem

Hey,

I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I'm having.
Recently maya started to ignore my project settings.
When I set the project to the proper drive and then try to render the file it doesn't put the images in the images folder...just in the top folder...
It used to work fine and then just yesterday it started to mess up. I'm using Maya 2008.

Thanks,
Franz

In your render settings window click on the Edit button in the top Left of the window and open up the 'Change Project Image Directory...' window. Make sure in 'Project Data Locations' that your Images line is set to the file path of your project.

If your project file location (found at the top of this window) is set to the default location (which from the sound of your problem, it is not) - then this line should be blank and your images will then default to the maya folder/directory structure and the images folder inside.

Hope this helps,

Andy
