Hey all, So I am using Maya to make an animated character and pogo stick for importation into the C4 game engine. Right now I have my character weighted and rigged with a skeleton, and I want to animate him bouncing on the pogo stick. Now the issue is that right now the root/parent joint is in his hip, so when I move that his whole body moves with it.
Is there a way for me to pin his hands and feet in place so that when I translate his root/hip joint that his body will move accordingly but his hand and feet joint will rotate but not translate?
I'm using Maya 2008 btw and can unload my file if need be, thanks ahead of time!
