I need to make a spiral staircase that looks sort of like the ones at the apple stores:

thing is, I need to also make it get smaller in circumference as it goes up. Like a cone shape.

I have been playing around with the lattice tool, but I don't know the best way to go back and edit transformations after I modeled my shapes. As in, I made the stairs with a duplicate command, then I made a railing with the lattice tool, but it's hard to line everything up! Any tips?

hi

I would try to make the stairs straight first, just copying the steps and all, the TAPER that to make the upper ones smaller, and then TWIST the result of that, and that might do it

try it!!
