Hi,

I trying to get a imported font from AI which is beveled in Maya to curve or arch.

Can anyone give me a hand with this?

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Select the text and separate it so that each letter is a separate polygon and can be moved individually.

or

try creating a curve. Then select the text followed by the curve. Then making a wrap deformer. Now you can edit the cv's on the curve to deform the text as you please.

Another way of doing this would be to take your text and attach it to a motion path of an arch. Then create a flow path (add more divisions for more of a bend. Then play the timeline. Stop it at whatever point you like the arch then delete the history.
