mayby someone could help me with my problem, generally i can’t make a setup for raytrace relations of my objects in scene ( sorry if i’m not precise in my words ).
in scene i’ve got reflective floor, main object and a surface which is illuminating reflections on main object .
the issue is that i want the reflection on the floor to reflect main object and its surface reflections but without that surface.
i know that with normal lights it would be easy, light linking and that’s it. but when i got a surfase which is illumination i just can go over it.
I understood your problem when I saw your file, I don't think there's a way to do it in MR, you could try and change that ring for a real area light and choose the cylinder option for the area light, that, can give you almost the same look
