Stopping animated UV's

Hey guys, I have a small problem.

I have a small animation, where a polyplane is being being spun on it's Y axis with the use of a lattice (the lattice is used for other deformations). On that plane, for part of the animation, is an image sequence. The problem is as the plane spins, it looks as if the image sequence stays in place and gets deformed as the plane spin... kind of like projecting an image on a screen and the spinning the screen. When I go into the UV texture editor, the UV's of the plane start going nuts when I scrub the time line.

Any suggestions on how to stop this?
