Noob: How do you get to Mesh Menu?
on Aug 18, 2008 at 9:27:00 am

I am new to Maya. I have 8.5.

I am trying to Boolean 2 objects using the difference.

In the help menu it says it's in the 'Mesh > Booleans' menu, but for the frickin life of me, I do not see a 'Mesh' button, or menu listing anywhere. How do I get to the Mesh > Booleans menu? where is it at? I looked under the polygons tab, like it says in the help menu, but I don't see it there. Thanks guys,

I think I'm missing an important piece of the Maya puzzle somewhere, or skipped that page in Newbie school.

I'm using version 8 but it may be the same. Make sure your dropdown menu is set to Polygons. Mesh should appear about 5 or 6 items in fro the left.

Good luck

If you're gonna do it, try to do it well...if you can't do that then try to cover up your mistakes really well.

At the toop of your screen is a menu set. The menu sets are hotkeys F2 through F6. You must go back and read up on the interface.

Reality? What did you make it?
