I'm currently using maya surface shaders assigned to generated hairs from "shave and a haircut". I made the hair one color and got rid of gradients and shadings. I'm happy with that. Now when i put a light in the scene, it becomes shaded automatically. I don't want that. Still i can't get rid of the lights because i want the hair to cast shadows on the surroundings.
I tried almost everything in the light node and shave globals. Does anybody know how to do this? I Would be very thankful for an answer.
