Photoshop File on a polygon
on Jun 5, 2008 at 2:59:04 pm

I have a basic polygon rectangle that I want to put a photoshop file on just the front face. I know this is simple, but I can't figure this out for the life of me. When I apply the texture, I shows the letters of the file very small & there are about 50 groups of the text. How do I fix this?

Thanks,
Karen

OK - so I have my surface on my polygon face. Now I need it to move with my object. I selected the "place3dtexture" node, then selected my poly face face & tried to parent them, but when I do I get the error: not enough objects or values? What do I do now?

Thanks!
Karen

Ola,

As far as my knowledge goes the texture is connected to the object and when moving/translating the object the texture will follow. There should be no reason to parent the one to the other.

HI

I would say you just need to delete history of the object

if you do need the texture to animated etc, just parent it to your object or make a parent constraint.

But I'm almost sure that is you delete history on your object will solve it
(EDIT > DELETE BY TYPE> HISTORY) have the object selected.

Hope that you can share us what you are doing, even your WORK IN PROGRESS (WIP).
