Hi guys! Anyone ever have to make a quicktime VR or shockwave panoramic out of a 3D object? I think I want to use quicktime VR but am not sure how to get the 3D model from Maya into the quicktime VR format. I'm guessing I'll have to use a specific quicktime VR authoring tool unless there's a Maya plug-in that will allow me to do this directly from Maya?
I'm not sure if I want to use quicktime or director to turn my 3D objects into 360 views on the web, thought I'd check with you guys and see what's best. I'm definitely bringing them into Maya first (coming from CAD files). I have some objects the client wants to be able to turn completely around (up down, side to side) so you can see the entire object. So I'm guessing this would be considered an object-centric view of a 3D object viewed on the web.
