How to use a mib_texture_filter_lookup

This is my last hope for getting rid of the moire effect. My sampling and filtering just can get any higher.

So I'm trying to plug a mib_texture_filter_lookup into my shader, without success. I heard this might do the trick.

To start with, I have a maya lambert with a file texture. There's also some subtle displacement. That's all.

On to the mib_texture_filter_lookup:

I tried connecting it to the lambert's colour (and loading my file to its new mib_texture_filter_lookup.) Result: Black. Can't see the texture in the render. I'm clearly missing a step here.

Anyone?
