blend shapes independent from rigging

Hi everyone,

I am trying to animate a chameleon, and have constructed a full body rigg for the animal as well as some blend shapes.
How do I animate the blend shapes seperate from the rig?

ie. when i have the animal crowl (rig), I also want it to breath and blick (blend shapes)

I guess this is easy, just cant figure it out. Thanks a bunch in advance for any help.

Heres a tutorial on blendshapes.

Use the same principals to your skinned cameleon, and remember to have the blendShape node evaluated before the skinCluster, or else you mesh will blend away from your skeleton and into the belndShape target.

You change the evaluation order under "All Inputs". Search maya help with this sentence "Change a skinned object
